A quick star card!

A friend asked me to put a quick card together for her daughter who started high school today.  This is what I came up with.

All supplies (except ribbon) from PTI.

Talk about a quick card!  Hope she likes it!

another “never been used stamp” found ink!

I’m am loving this challenge!  So nice to ink up a stamp that has never been used!  I purchased this set a couple of years ago and never used all of the images. The Copic markers and paper piecing really added some “pop” on this card!

Can’t you just picture you and your girlfriends sitting on the beach (with a umbrella drink!) chatting about all the celebrity gossip?  I was hoping to capture that with this card!

Stamp: Impression Obsession-beach fun (girls and sentiment); Gel-a-tin (flourish)

Paper and Ribbon: Papertrey Ink

Copic Markers

Have a wonderful Friday!  Hope you are sitting on your back deck with that cold umbrella drink!!

Raspberry Suite Color Challenge #11

Hope you had a wonderful 4th of July!  Got to sneak some time in to complete this color challenge.

And boy was it a challenge!  I love the bright pink and red together, but that green was just throwing me off!  So after a few false starts, here is what I came up with:

Again, I went to Tiny Bird!  He gets tons of ink around here!

Paper: Papertrey Ink and Making Memories

Ribbon: Michael’s

Copic Markers and Gelly Roll pens

Have a wonderful night!

Raspberry Suite Color Challenge #10

Back again!  This time for Dawn’s Challenge for this week.

I love berry sorbet with the chocolate, but struggled with using the melon color.  As you can tell, I used such a small amount!  But I liked the way this card turned out.  Loving the flourishes!

Cardstock, Ink, Stamps: PTI

Punches: Friskars

Ribbon: Michael’s

I’m in the process of finishing some stuff up for my sister’s Disney trip.  Lots of cute goodies!  Have to remember to take photo’s!!

Have a good one!

Raspberry Suite Color Challenge #9

This color challenge came at the perfect time!  I needed to make a card for a friend’s wedding and would you believe her color is green!  So this card will be headed to her!

My take on this challenge:

The fluer-de-lis is a solid stamp, but I stamped it lightly on a textured paper to get that effect.  Love the distressed paper edges lately too!

I did not add a sentiment to the out side of the card, instead it is on the inside as a congratulations for a wedding.  The wedding is in July and she picked these dresses for the bridesmaids from JCrew:

So how perfect is this card!!  And now it is done!  Thanks Dawn!

Stamps: Inkadoo, Papertrey Ink

Ink: Momento Bamboo Leaves and Tuxedo Black, Versa Mark

Paper: Bazzill, Paper Studio

KWerner Design Color Inspiration # 54

Have you ever had one of those days??  I made this card and spaced getting it posted!  Too much on my mind trying to get ready to vacation!

This the card I came up with:

Great card for a little guys birthday!

This was the first chance I had to use Papertrey Ink Polka Dot Basics.  I LOVE THIS SET!  You will see I have used it in the next couple of cards I have made.  I love the fact that you can make your own customized paper!  How cool is that?!?!  And yes, I currently own three polka dot stamps (excessive I know!), but really can you have too many polka dot stamps??

Stamps: Stampin Up Nursery Necessities; Papertrey Ink  Polka Dot Basics

Ink: Palette-Orangerie and Grey, Stampin Up-Certainly Celery, Adirondack-Pool and Aqua

Paper: Bazzill, Amuse

Ribbon: American Crafts

Auburn Goodies

Last week my sister Becki had asked me to make a gift for my niece’s Sunday School teacher.  Ella just adores Miss Alyssa and I understand she is an outstanding young woman!  Alyssa will be attending Auburn University this fall, so Becki wanted some note cards and a personalized coffee mug that had the college emblem. Archiver’s and Paper Impressions (a local paper and invitation store) had some adorable paper.  So much to choose from!  So I put this together:

The mug was found at Target.  You just unscrew the bottom and put in your own paper.  Really easy, but I warn you, get a coffee mug sleeve from Starbucks if you plan on making a band!  I had to learn that the hard way!  (that little purple Croc in the back is my niece!)

Then I made a notepad.  These are so fun to personalize.  I used a strip of each paper to tie in all of the elements of the total gift.

Then I did two sets of note cards.  The first are a foldover with four different designs. (I had alot of fun paper to choose from!)  The second are a flat note card in the PTI Desk Organizer.  Have I told you how much I love this template??  I have a few of these and this by far is my favorite!

I had it all put together in a fun clear paint tin from Michael’s.  It was fun putting this together and I am sure anyone going off to college would love a set like this.

Paper: orange, SU Tangerine Tango; Navy, Archivers

Ink: Orange: PTI Melon Berry; Navy, custom mix

Ribbon: Orange dot, Michael’s

Have a great night, thanks for checking in!
